How it works

Three minutes to party-ready.

Pick the gift

Paste any product link from any store. Set it as the group gift, and add smaller items guests can buy directly.

Share one link

Drop it in the party invite. Guests chip in any amount with Apple Pay or card — or buy a side gift at the store.

Funded? Claim it.

Once the goal is met, you complete the gift on your terms. Anything left over arrives as a gift card to a store you choose.

FAQ

Common questions.

How does a group gift work?

You pick one gift — say, the $300 bike — and share your Budling link. Guests chip in any amount; $20 and $200 both move the bar. When it's funded, we buy the gift and ship it to your door. No duplicates, no returns, no group text about who's paying whom.

What if we raise more or less than the gift costs?

Every dollar gets used. If the gift isn't fully funded by your event, you choose: top up the difference, swap to a gift that fits the total, or take the full amount as a retailer gift card. Anything over the goal becomes a gift card too. If a gift can't be fulfilled at all, contributions are refunded.

Do I need to connect a bank account?

No — and you never will. Budling doesn't pay money out to you, so there's no bank setup and no identity verification. Funded gifts arrive at your door; leftovers arrive as a gift card by email. All we need is a shipping address.

How does Budling make money?

When we buy your funded gift, the retailer pays us a small commission — the same way cashback sites work. It never changes the price you or your guests see. No platform fees, no subscriptions, no cut of the gifts.
